President Biden’s mental abilities have been in decline ever since his 2020 campaign. However, his “gaffes” have reached new levels of danger to his administration.
When investigated by the special counsel over his mishandling of classified files, Biden was exonerated due to poor mental abilities. By the government’s own logic, Trump must have better mental abilities due to his charges remaining open in his own mishandling case. The Hill reports:
President Biden on Thursday confused the leaders of Mexico and Egypt during a press conference in which he forcefully rebutted a special counsel report that offered a harsh assessment of his memory and recall abilities.
Biden delivered remarks from the White House in which he sharply pushed back against conclusions from special counsel Robert Hur that the president presented during an interview with investigators as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
In addition to mixing up the Mexican and Egyptian presidents, Biden’s poor memory has also led to mixing up dates. He recalled former world leaders doing things decades later, long after their death and terms of office expired. Fox News says:
President Biden claimed he spoke with the late German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017, in 2021 while recalling past conversations during fundraising events on Wednesday. The gaffe marks his second of the week.
The annual meeting was not attended by Kohl, as he had been dead for four years, but by former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
President Biden’s mental and physical health is reaching a point of no return. With increased campaigning, he will have to answer his record. Even the sympathetic media will no longer be able to cover these facts up. Biden might soon face calls for resignation from inside his party, or at least to withdraw from reelection.
