Donald Trump’s speech was the longest ever on record, lasting over an hour and a half. During the speech, Trump mentioned his plan for his new administration and generally gave encouraging words to motivate his supporters. Breitbart says:
Former President Donald Trump crushed the record for the longest-ever nomination acceptance speech on Thursday night at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, speaking for 92 minutes — past midnight on the East Coast — just days after surviving an assassination attempt.
ABC News and others reported that the 92-minute speech was a record. Trump often speaks off-the-cuff for more than an hour at campaign rallies, but to do so after nearly being killed, and late at night, was a signal that he is stronger than ever.
Hulk Hogan was one of the most popular speakers at the convention, riling up fans with an amazing performance reminiscent of his time in the ring. Daily Caller reports:
The crowd at the Republican National Convention went wild after wrestling legend Hulk Hogan ripped his shirt off during a speech to reveal a Trump Vance shirt Thursday night.
Attendees whooped and hollered, erupting into a USA chant as the Hulkster gestured his iconic hand-to-ear pose, a video the Daily Caller’s Reagan Reese posted to Twitter shows.
The Republican National Convention was overall a success for Trump, while Democrats will now have to have a bitter nominating fight on the floor following rumors that Biden will be dropping out.
