The media is taking an unexpected turn against Kamala once she revealed her new economic policies.

Following three and a half difficult economic years for working class families, Kamala Harris has acknowledged inflation but not her role in fostering it. Instead, she has proposed Marxist-type crackdowns on “price gouging.” Fox News says:

The media adulation for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign may still be strong in general, but several major liberal outlets haven’t been able to stomach her latest economic policy proposal.

Harris announced Wednesday that she would institute a “federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries” as president in an attempt to stop “big corporations” from taking advantage of consumers, and outlets like the Washington Post, CNN, and Newsweek published reports shredding the idea.

The American economy should operate free of cartels, meaning price gouging is not the result of collusion but a reality of all around rising prices. Key to all this is the price of energy, which Harris will only make worse with her opposed bans on fracking. Fox Business continues:

Harris co-sponsored the Green New Deal as a senator in 2019, a proposal to stem climate change that includes a ban on fracking.

Since becoming the Democratic nominee, however, Harris has appeared to walk back her support for a nationwide fracking ban.

The media turning on Kamala over this issue could be a sign that she has truly gone too far. Her constant need to “top” Trump’s own economic policies makes her look ungenuine, and dangerous to the fiscal health of all Americans.
