Mexico Shakes Down America With A Shocking Threat

The outgoing President of Mexico has stated that he will continue to send migrants to America until his demands are met. Among those demands are the legalization of illegal Mexicans, $20 trillion to Latin American countries, and the end of embargoes against hostile nations of Venezuela and Cuba.

Mexico has always been a thorn in America’s side. While America has not invaded the country since 1848, it has propped up friendly regimes and manipulated local warlords to keep such ambitions in check. Fox News says:

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador warned on Sunday during an interview with “60 Minutes” that unless the United States complies with Latin America’s requests for aid, the tide of migrants will continue.

In January, Obrador issued a series of demands for what the U.S. must do to stop the flow of migrants to the border, ranging from sending Latin American countries $20 billion in aid a year to granting some level of amnesty to illegal immigrant workers in the U.S.

Thomas Jefferson once said “millions for defense, not one cent for tribute” when reacting to Muslim pirates demand for American protection payments. Agreeing to such demands while threatened rather than mutual benefit would be tantamount to cowardice. Newsweek reports:

In response to these comments, Greene, a Georgia Republican known for her outspoken support of former President Donald Trump and his policies, expressed outrage in posts to X, formerly Twitter.

“The President of Mexico says they will keep invading our country until we pay the bribe. This is a war. He is basically saying either we meet his demands or the invasion continues,” Greene said.

Joe Biden will likely do nothing to defend America’s borders or her honor, being distracted by a growing number of international crises. America cannot count on a friendly Mexico under AMLO, and will need to build a wall to prevent further violence from spilling over. Once the border is secure, America can treat with Mexico on a basis of mutual interest.
