Media Liberals Lose Their Minds with New Hire

Rona McDaniel, the recently retired RNC chair, has been hired by NBC News as a commentator. McDaniel’s long experience with Republican politics and close connections to many conservatives make her a perfect hire if a network was interested in news reporting.

However, liberal personalities have been going mad over the hire, calling it “dangerous”. It all started when Chuck Todd called out his superiors on his “Meet the Press” show, opposing her hiring. Politico continues:

The dissent broke into the open Sunday when the network’s top political analyst, Chuck Todd, pilloried executives moments after McDaniel’s first network appearance, an interview with Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press.”

“There’s a reason why there’s a lot of journalists at NBC News uncomfortable with this,” Todd told Welker, citing prior “gaslighting” and “character assassination” from McDaniel’s RNC.

Other members of the liberal news cartel joined in, as if coordinated. MSNBC’s own Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski joined in by refusing to invite McDaniel in the future. Meghan McCain received a similar treatment when she was on “The View”, despite her very moderately conservative views and her anti-Trump credentials. Fox News says:

MSNBC morning stars Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski blasted their employers on Monday for hiring “anti-democracy election denier” Ronna McDaniel, the former head of the Republican National Committee, as a paid contributor to NBC News.

“We hope NBC will reconsider its decision” to hire McDaniel, said Brzezinski, who co-hosts the four-hour morning show with her husband, former GOP congressman Scarborough.

This story is the perfect example of the liberal media living in a bubble. Conservatives are spread out throughout the country more than liberals, and are used to frequenting liberals and their talking points. McDaniel has never said
