Here’s How the Patriot Rally Against Open Borders Went

Conservative activists have been traveling across the country to protests Joe Biden’s Open Borders policy. Following Greg Abbott’s refusal to help the Federal Government facilitate the invasion of America, many Americans and Republican Governors showed their support.

The convoy itself eventually split up into three separate order rallies, the largest of which occurred in Texas. At its peak, it included 300 vehicles, a sizable rally but not a revolutionizing one. The NY Post reports:

In Texas, rallygoers at the Cornerstone Children’s Ranch in Quemado waved American flags and banners supporting former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.

About 300 vehicles — from 18-wheelers and buses to motorcycles — had joined the “Take Our Border Back Convoy” by the time it reached the Texas site late Friday, the Kinney County sheriff told NewsNation.

Initial fears that the rallies would be targeted by the Biden Regime subsided, and it turned into a mix of pro-Trump and religious revival gathering. The NY Times says:

In the end, the rally in Texas — part political protest, part Christian revival — attracted a modest crowd to the ranch, and no outbreaks of violence. Many in attendance were retired and had decided to make the trip almost spontaneously after having heard about it on social media or the local news.

After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against Texas, saying that federal border agents could continue cutting or removing concertina wire while the case proceeds, many Republican state leaders publicly expressed defiance in terms that echoed armed conflicts.

Rallies are a key action in political organization. Not only does it publicize the issue, but it also allows for political networks to be built and strengthened. The 2024 election will be decided based on how well each side can mobilize its supporters.
